The 1st place prize and coveted Crystal Brush went to Kirill Kanaev for his absolutely stunning, scratchbuilt, Crimson Fist Marine! Along with his well deserved recognition, Kirill was the proud winner of a check for $10,000. I have to tell you, these pictures really do tell the tale and it was even more impressive in person! It was truly an honor to be in the same room with artists of this caliber at the con.
