I see that 3D printing take all. Tables will be looks fantastic for small price.
Wow that terrain looks great! The level of detail is incredible… Do they make steampunk or scyfi stuff?
That terrain is amazing (and you need to tell your camera guy to move the camera to look at what is being talked about please!)
Wow that dungeon looks amazing.
Beautiful designs. Just be sure to understand the limitations and peculiarities of your printer, or check prices if you plan to have a commercial print vendor make your pieces.
I have to get a 3d Printer now
So I Kickstartered my 3D printer. Now I’m kick-starting some terrain files. The question now is which will I receive first
Anyone near me have a 3d-printer I can borrow for the next five years or so?
This is the stuff they were showing on BOW yesterday. This stuff looks great.
I have only one question: What would be the best choice for a 3D printer for a non-professional user. Would any printer “do”? If I went to a store similar to Radio Shack in the US or something alike, what should I tell him I want?
IMHO and from my experience. If you want a printer that takes the smallest amount of tinkering, has a large support community and is constantly getting updates that get bolt on yourself over time, just get an Original Prusa 3D MK3 and call it a day. There are many other options but IMHO the Original Prusa 3D MK3 is your best bang for the buck with the least amount of pain. Regardless, there will be a learning curve and you have to have patience as 3D printing is NOT exactly like getting a printer to print paper. Some knowledge and… Read more »
Looks fun 🙂
Someday.
nice, I think this is the way things are going. I’m sure there will still be some terrain people, but I think we’ll be seeing more and more of this type of thing. D&D..where after an adventure a file gets sent to some company and boom..your character now gets mailed to you.. and a few links for the next campaign scenery files.
They have tons of great terrain files for legion/starwars as well.
I want a 3D printer because reasons… mostly for the toy factor and to print terrain with. Plus with certain types of terrain, Middle Eastern buildings for example, you can print in 28mm scale for games like Saga and Bolt Action and then reduce the file size for Flames of War. One file different sizes!
This was interesting
Matt’s team are ridiculously productive – I keep backing them despite the fact I’m not printing as fast as they’re designing 😀 This KS looks like one of their best yet – and if it is run the way their other ones have been, there will be the chance to purchase add ons from their previous Kickstarters
This is good
That does it damnit! I’m getting a 3D printer this year!
Sounds cool
Now I need to convince the wife that we need a 3D printer in our lives.
Our Gaming groupis in decision to buy or not to buy a 3D printer. This blog is heavy weight for it.
