The Battle For Mexico 1915

Something a bit different! This is an awesome, slightly larger scale game, which features The Battle For Mexico in 1915.

I always like this kind of thing, messing around with larger scales. It works specifically well for those who want to dive into participation games.

Larger scale? How big are the minis?

54mm at a guess, way back when I was a lad played Western Gunfights with the long lamented lost Timpo Cowboys and Indians, with he odd Britain’s Figures. Their was a guy at the Chase Wargames club who had a whole scratch built 54mm Town and the original Timpo Wild Wrst Train.

As I get older, I find myself wanting to play in smaller scales so I can get more soldiers on a table for bigger battles.

But as a spectacle to wow visitors, in a huge hall, large scale figures can look awesome!

54mm? Very cool looking table. Not a scale I’d paint for normal hobby but makes a lot of sense in a show context.
