Spouses across the land are going to wondering where all their bath sponges have gone. The black and orange stained hands of their partners should be a clue!

I can hear it now …

“Damn it, Jim! You’re going back to the store for new ones!”

Which is why I made sure I bought @gladesrunner a gift at the con as well. It’s easier to confess how much money you spent at the trader’s hall when you ALSO bought a nice piece of jewelry for the girlfriend back home.

I don’t even want to imagine an ammo fire on that M7 SPH deck. All those 105mm shells* are stored in the open, this thing would have gone off like a mini tactical nuke.

*these don’t look to be converted to the 25-pounder “Sextant.” Pretty much an M7 given to the British, the American 105mm howitzer replaced with the British 25-pounder so it could operate better with British ammo stores / the British Army supply system.
