I recently ran a Panzer Leader game at Gold Beach (British beach with Funnies).
Then I ran Omaha (American Beach with no Funnies).
Man, what a difference. I kept catching myself wondering when the Funnies would arrive to deal with German mines, beach obstacles, and the beach itself.
