Haven’t heard mention of Mein Panzer in many a year
It was great to see T-80s on a 1980s table for a change.
That was an amazing amount of tanks. Do y’all know who won that round?
Sadly I do not. With those being T-80s … I dunno, I’d call it even money.
Interesting, so many rules varients to be seen.
Indeed. I just think the more modern you go, the smaller your scale should be. At least with any kind of “battlefield” engagements (tanks, infantry, artillery, etc)
Und wir fahr´n, fahr´n, fahr´n auf der Autobahn.
Vorsicht vor russischen Panzern!
So do they have to drag you away from this stand Jim?
My thoughts exactly @zorg I’m Wondering if i’ll be getting him back when this is over or if I’m going to have to go to PA and drag him home.
first BOW member reported MIA?
I do love T-80s … I really, really do.
Very nice idea to scale down to get a better understanding of moderns ranges but even at 6mm you still be able to reach out and touch everything on the table.
Well, I kind of botched this interview … I said 6mm but he was playing at 10mm. But you’re right, even at 6mm GHQ Micorarmor (still the best if you want to do modern-ish armor in miniature), and Abrams should fire out to at least 30 FEET … and that’s on a 6mm table.
Nice looking tanks!
Especially for such a small scale.
More good stuff.
Used to play a fair bit of 6 & 10 mm moderns back in the 90s.
Keep hankering after reviving the 10mm for Arab Israeli.
I’d be up for that …
I love a good what if scenario.
Agreed. And the later the time period, the smaller the scale should really be.
