Folks are getting into the spirit of things when it comes to Team Yankee now, delving into that game we looked at in a past video. Israeli forces and moving against the Syrians and things are hotting up.
It’s again great to see the kind of tabletops that people build for their Flames Of War/Team Yankee games, exploring fascinating landscapes which go from very rural through to urban.
The little things like burning cars, dead tanks and such are a nice touch to help build on the narrative.
I love that they managed to sneakily fit the Iran/Iraq war into team Yankee. It’s a great book too!
I’ve always been a big fan of the IDF. It’s great that Team Yankee has now embraced them into the WWIII action with the book ‘Oil Wars’
I’m currently building up several versions of the IDF including a modern version for the ‘Team Yankee Era’.
Is there a known source for 15mm civilian cars and truck models for scatter terrain? I would love to add some non-military burning vehicles to my tables.
Good point by Mr. joewrightgm: Is the Iraq/Iran war covered in Oil War? I haven´t tried Team Yankee and Oil War yet. Since I read an article about it a few eeks ago I´m a bit more willing to give this very modern stuff a go, and I vs I seems to be manageable.
Decisions, Decisions. Continue working on my Late War Americans or start on an IDF force for Team Yankee.
