Some Amazing Tables Taking Shape
There are some fantastic tables taking shape here at Salute with some featuring over 1000 models! This is one of the massive Napoleonic clashes on the tabletop which uses hex-based movement to make it quicker and easier to play.
One of the key things is that the game focuses in on mechanics which deal with sections of the battlefield over single units making it a big, grand encounter.
Looks amazing!
Hex based board so I’m guessing Commands and Colors. Would be good to know. There was a nice one using that system in Plymouth this year but this looks much swisher.
A lovely coat of paint, makes me jealous, and then there is terrain….
Beautifully painted miniatures, iv never delved into this era myself but i can see the attraction
Cue the Abba sound track
Waterloo!
Aren´t those minis too precious to game with them? Zhey belong into a dust-proof shelf.
love the map.
Fantastic looking table.
Oh those hex tables are something we all drool over. one day, fellow wargamres. one day …
This was my first Salute and I was staggered by the number, and, quality of the participation games. Some serious effort put in by the gaming clubs.
very nice
Massive table!
i can see the appeal in Napoleonic with table like this.
Really cool table, love how they’ve done this.
Amazing table, lovely mini
s. Never saw the attraction in my younger years up until now, i
m older now and think i could get in to that. Not sure about the gaming side, but i could settle with just making and painting.Always wanted to try a HEX game.
Looks awesome!
