Getting Stuck Into Painting Bolt Action Germans
We’re looking at some quick and easy ways to paint up the Germans as Oriskany finds out how the Afrika Korp are coming together with one of the Boot Campers.
like the paint job on the 88
That green looks very dark
That’s what I thought as well. But it can work well with highlighting up from it.
I think I would have gone US drab or Russian uniform green from Vallejo but I’m sure he knows what he’s doing. Looking forward to seeing the result
@leifer1971 ‘s PzKpfw III is friggin’ amazing. If these infantry come out half as good as that Mark III did, these will be great.
I’m liking the progress but surely after coming that far you’d rather be playing than painting?
Those are some very nice Germans! And that tank is superb! Looking forward to see where you go from here.
Yep, that’s a nice 88.
Nothing like a Flak36 to put the fear into Allied tank crews
These are looking really nice 🙂
Gonna have a field day highlighting and shading all of those
Nce progress in 24hrs.
Should it not be: Getting StuG into the Bolt Action Germans
🙂
Quiet impressive already! I cannot wait to see all the painted armies on those beautiful tables
The Afrika Korp do look good especially with some paint on them
the colorset from valejo really had me confused with its dark green grey as main uniform color. felt way to dark. but if you look at coloured photos of infantry early in the war when the uniforms weren worn out > it actually is jsut that dark and greeny
That is some amazing work.
Great progress, finished stuff looks excellent
Sneak in an 88 to take on the British armour.oh yes
Interesting to start with green in the desert
awesome panzer lll and 88
Looks so awesome already. Hope a project will be made with these, so we can see how they ended up looking
beautiful painting skill
The Brits were just as fiddly. Good to see the improvement from Warlord.
We need to see some rolling dice and pushing lea….. er plastic
Tank looks great. If and when I get around to some DAK minis I’ll go more green to make them easier to differentiate from the Brits. Great work in a short time.
Can’t wait to see the finished army. I know it’ll be incredible!
Well, everybody seems to agree that these kits are enjoyable to build and paint.
