I would have liked to see some of the historic games also.
I could very easily see this game being played during an RPG as part of the world: a dice game at the tavern, maybe the outcome influences an NPC’s reaction to the party. Actually playing out the game rather than roll the dice, apply your modifier, wait til DM tells you if you succeed.
