Lead Adventures Send Out Their Fourth Wave of Steampunk Creations
February 8, 2015 by dracs
The fourth wave of Lead Adventures' steampunk minis have been released on their webstore, providing gamers of Victorian Romance with a new selection of robots and female fighters.
In this new selection, we find four adventuresses who have geared themselves up with the latest in weapons tech.
Each of these has a good level of personality to them that helps to instill their models with a bit of narrative as you use them on the table top. They would be perfect for a new warband in Empire of the Dead, especially with the cool gear they're toting around.
However, they don't go into battle alone as three new steampunk robots have also joined the Lead Adventure range.
There is something ridiculously cartoony about these robots that I cannot help but love. They wouldn't look out of place in an orc force, let alone a steampunk setting. As it is, they have an original design that sets them apart from other such steampunk minis and I would love to see them appear in some games.
What games would you use these minis for?

Those do have plenty of character.
I can’t help but see them in some kind of Dr. Who scenario, on some future steam-punk world, chasing down the 10th doctor.
I like the robots.
Maybe for A Song of Things and Rayguns
The gals are good fun but too cartoony for me.
The robots certainly do have a sort of “Killa Kan” look about them. 🙂
