River Horse Give Us A Sneaky Look At Hoggle For Labyrinth
September 8, 2015 by brennon
River Horse have shown off a wonderful preview of one of their characters for the upcoming Labyrinth board game they have in the works. Hoggle is looking superb and oozes character in this sculpt; I think you're going to like it...
Johnny Fraser is behind the sculpting here and was able to bring the design to life. I think they've created a wonderful piece that brings back memories from the film as soon as you look at him. The quizzical expression on his face and the detail on his clothing is fantastic.
If this is what we have to look forward to with Labyrinth then we're in for a treat here.
What do you think of their work?

That looks super cool. I want one as the three-up! That movie was one of my favorites as a child and still so to this day.
Totally
Looks great! I really hope the game play is good on this one, because it looks like the playing pieces will be epic.
That is so amazing it makes me want to dance magic dance
Can’t Wait!!!
That looks really good and there is plenty of character in that sculpt.
David Bowies Labyrinth trousers, warping kids minds since the 80’s
Will his trousers be in actual scale or heroic scale as in the film??
… no I think they’re sculpting that in 75 mm (O __o) ha ha
It’s not the trousers that are heroic scale it’s what’s inside them that is.
Oo. All in for this, it this is the standard.
(@ , @) … wait, River Horse is making a Labyrinth game ? (@ , @) ???
when did this happen ? this is amazing news 😀
… on a side note, when I saw that picture of the mini I thought ” that’s huge, must be a three up for plastics ”
then got out the calculator and tried to work out the scale
… then looked up again and saw “three up stage” written on the picture 😛
This is going in my secret horde of lewt my GF would love. I keep a few items ready in case I end up in the dog house. I have 3 signed Larry Elmore art prints squirreled away that might prevent a divorce some day!
Well, that does sound like a fantastic girl.
It’s also handy for when you get caught spending too much on hobby stuff. I just hope this game is out before the Conan KS crate arrives…
“How much did I spend on all this? Well hey look it’s the Labyrinth game! Look at the shiney! Stare at the lovely shiny!”
nice.
This is bizarre lol, I knew nothing of this game coming out until today, but 2 weeks ago I seen the dvd and though “God haven’t watched that in years” and bought it, watched it few nights ago lol. I must get me this board game lol
That’s excellent. I have no idea how they’ll make a game out of the film, but it better include the Bog of Eternal Stench.
Why stop at Labyrinth? Get me some Dark Crystal!
