Uncharted Empires Landing In December For Kings Of War
September 17, 2019 by brennon
Guerilla Miniature Games, a channel well worth checking out, got a peek at the December release for Kings Of War from Mantic Games called Uncharted Empires: Armies Of Pannithor.
This new expansion for the latest edition of Kings Of War will be a way for you to play some of the forgotten armies that may have fallen by the wayside and need to see a new lease of life within the world of Pannithor. For example, you can see the Ratmen making an appearance on the cover here.
The previous iteration of Uncharted Empires added nine different factions into the mix and I would imagine that this new one will do more or less the same. So, if you've got a Fantasy army not included in the main rules for Kings Of War they might be in here.
Will you be checking this out and of course the new edition of the game?

I do love KoW. Dwarfs and Orgers built, Northern Alliance on pre-order. Can’t wait to see what options this book will give me
oh this has far far more than 9 factions, there are all of the current lists that will need to keep everything up to date. Twilight Kin is getting a proper list and on top of that 5 “new” lists are being added. One of these has been leaked a Free Dwarf army, so exciting times.
I know Mantic models are great value for money, but FREE 🙂
Now to be slightly more serious… what is the scoop here?
🙂 if you played KoW: Historical you would have seen the army lists were set up in a specific way. A Master list with everything in it and then specific lists that adjusted things. So while it was possible to build a Roman army from the Master List there would be no special rules or units. But if you went to the Roman list it would tell you that certain units are now limited, others become regular and add specific faction rules and units or characters like Caesar. In the same way the free dwarfs will take the standard Imperial… Read more »
I may not play it but I do have the rulebook in the unplayed pile of glory! Interesting!
I am interested in this. Could be some cool options there
if the games as good as the book cover then bring it on.
the game is probably better 😀
Nice.
I will differently add this to my Kings of War collection.
My elven army can always use more factions to beatup on!
bad knife ears, bad!
Silly Elf, War is for Orgers
