Mantic Games is now taking pre-orders for the new Clash Of Kings 2024 book plus a whole host of awesome Twilight Kin miniatures. Evil is brewing in Pannithor and the Twilight Kin are looking to make things suitably spikey and brutal for all of the other armies involved in Kings Of War.

The new Clash Of Kings book contains a bunch of additional army changes and balance updates for Kings Of War plus new scenarios. You'll also find the much anticipated Twilight Kin background information and army list for you to use in your games. There is also plenty of new art and more to help you with inspiring paint schemes. Additionally, you'll also find updates for the Northern Alliance and Nightstalker armies that launched this year in 2023.

New Two-Player Starter Set

To get you started with the Twilight Kin, you might want to scoop up the new Two-Player Starter Set. This sees you diving into a clash between the new Twilight Kin and the equally angry Abyssal Dwarves.

The Raging Void Starter Set // Kings Of War

Inside the set, you get forty Abyssal Dwarf Blacksouls/Decimators, three Abyssal Dwarf Lesser Obsidian Golems, one Abyssal Dwarf Overmaster, sixteen Twilight Kin Corsair Voidwalkers/Fleetwardens and twenty Twilight Kin Voidtouched Mutants/Weavers. The Twilight Kin side of the box is then finished off by a set of three Twilight Kin Impalers and a Twilight Kin Summoner Crone On Mare.

You also get the big Kings Of War Rulebook as well as a Getting Started Guide for The Raging Void set. A solid set of miniatures and some good options for those wanting to dive into this fun 28mm Fantasy wargame.

Kings Of War Ambush is the smaller scale way for you to play your games of Kings Of War where you use a smaller selection of units than you'd use in larger games. Ambush games have been designed to be quick and fun to play, teaching you the mechanics and getting you stuck into Kings Of War without too much hassle. It's also pretty darn awesome to have access to these fun new plastic sets! This gives you a set of Impalers as well as the Voidwalkers/Fleetwardens.

Looking stunning whilst you murder your enemies is quite the task but the Twilight Kin seem to have it nailed. I loved that Mantic Games have taken the idea of "Dark Elves" and given it a twist, going for all sorts of twisted and mutated vibes across the range. You can see this with the Heroes set.

This set comes with a Navigator, Void Captain, Summoner Crone On Mare and Soulbane. I really love the towering killers that Mantic has designed with the Twilight Kin, absolute monstrosities that feel like they wouldn't look out of place in a game like Dark Souls or Elden Ring.
