Nice 🙂 will there be orc archers at any point?

I like orks. These orks look on par with the other races for war ability and intelligence, unlike those simpleton blockheaded ones in modern GW ranges.

hmm, I like them but slightly underwhelmed. Dont seem to have as many options as the excellent Mantic skeletons and zombies. But only 2 sprues out of what I assume will be a big range though and the assembled guy looks good and beefy. Definately going to get a Regiment or two for a closer look (or maybe the orc expansion for Dwarf Kings Hold) and see what else Ronnie & co have planned for their Greenskin range. The Warlord on boar preview was excellent.

This are a nice alternative to GW… but especially nice for D&D/RPGs because of the low cost. It is hard justifying buying a box of GW Orcs for an RPG because of the price. Solid product.

Looks good. However, I would have liked to see a little more variety in the weapons and shields. I think I’ll be picking some of these up.

Andy are we going to see any Goblins from Mantic in the future?

Nice scoop, BOW. The minis look nice. Good that they moved away from the GW formular.

I loved the way they designed the skeletons and the elves sprues, but now they are getting less and less options on each sprue thy make.

The Gouls, Zombies, Ironwatch, Elven Scouts are great examples.I love my sprues to be jampacked with goodies and options too.

I still like them thou. I just wish they didn’t do this lazy sprues layout anymore and go back the way they did them.

Do you know if there will be some different sprues? There does not seem to be a lot in the way of veriety on these ones.

Well wolflord they are ment to be in big ranked units, in those you tend not to notice even if each model is individual. That aside I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to get some conversions done and make them a bit different if you were using them in a smaller unit or for a skirmish game. The main thing I was waiting to get a look at were the heads as I wasn’t a massive fan of the head on the 3-up. Like to see more options, loose weapons, shields, things to use in other projects and as spice to terrain pieces.

Have any of the mantic kits come with a large number of extra weapons?

I mean I know they tend to come with a few but it isn’t one of their main priorities compared to keeping the box prices down.

they look great. I like how Mantic continues to put their own artistic touch on traditional fantasy races. As others have stated, having some extra bits would be nice, but if there’s one or two little gremlins/snotlings on each sprue – I’m good 🙂 I can easily forget a few extra spears or arms ‘n such to have some comical gremlins running around.

Those little Gremlin are nice. And there is more then just one. Thats very nice. 😀 If we could see some more built orcs.

OK, pretty nice, though the command spru is a little disappointing. no Banner just a head? Maybe that is orcy 😉 also not convinced by Heros weapon.
Love all the little guys everywhere, will be easy to make up snottling swarms with those 😉

The command sprue was a little bit disappointing like @russoliver said. I was expecting a little bit more options.

I didn’t like the shields, so when I get my boxes I will chopp them off. They just look orky to me.
