Just jumped into Kings of War and I’m pretty excited that BoW is doing these videos. I’m trying to decide on a second army and right now it’s between Orcs and Ogres so perfect timing for this .
Is that interpretation of Tribal Might correct?
As an Orc player I question the ‘add 1 CS to your total’. The GreatAx have CS(2) as a specified total in their unit description so it would stay at CS(2). The Ax, who have no CS specified in their unit description, would gain CS(1) from Tribal Might.
Or am I wrong?
I thinks you might be wrong. It does say that if the unit already has crashing strength to add plus 1. So that makes the orcs really good at causing damage but not broken. Considering they do have some faults.
From the rule book
“Tribal Might- All units in this list have crushing strength (1) unless specified otherwise.”
In Greatax profile it says Crushing strength 2. so only CS 2.
I concur. Also played against these 3 times now and even with CS(2) they are really good.
Yup, read it again, looks like crushing strength (1) unless specified so I think those units would be at crushing strength (2) not (3). Good catch by the way.
