Zabavka Workshop Bring Japanese Warrior Cats To Kickstarter!

I do like myself some anthropomorphic animals and Zabavka Workshop are currently on Kickstarter with their new range of Japanese Warrior Cats!
Inspired by their love of the Japanese culture and of course, cats, the team has taken to sculpting up a range of great looking 28/32mm miniatures which would be a lot of fun for use in skirmish and roleplaying games. Here is a peek at what they have been working on at the core of their campaign...
A range of awesome cats have been added into the mix which are absolutely packed with character. Whether you're looking to pick up some male or female cats, you have some nice options and the variety of different styles have also been catered too. I really like that we've got some traditional Samurai but also Ninja, Ronin and Yakuza too. It's a rather nice little collection!
Stretch Goals!
Here is a look ahead to what they've been doing with stretch goals too as they unlock more and more!
It's really neat to see some of the terrain elements in the mix here. I love seeing some fascinating terrain which matches the sculpts you've just put together. It means that when it comes to playing games, everything feels like it's at the same scale. Also, upgraded weapon options would be neat to see, especially if you're looking to use multiples of the same sculpt. Maybe you'll even break the magnets out!

Ooh they look fantastic.
Interesting rewards on the Kickstarter, you essentially pay for a discounted coupon to use on their website. It puts into perspective the preorder-discount nature of the campaign.
Lovely minis. At little pricey, especially when I have cats and catacombs sitting unpainted on my painting desk! I will probably revisit this when they are available at retail.
Bah!!! Why oh why does this occur when I stare upon my dead wallet in painting desire over these figures!?! Its a conspiracy, as when I will have funds there will be no projects of worth. Maybe its just the way to have me avoid purchasing things I don’t need. *grumble*

I really want the ‘Daime Cat’ (which I call a dragon). I jumped to their company website to checkout their available stock of minis but currently can’t order from them as it tells me that they currently can’t ship anything to me. What a bummer!!! On a positive note, while looking over the Kickstarter page, I saw the thank you to http://scalebro.com/ for their help, and checked them out. Great stuff ScaleBro!
