Witness Trough & Tankard’s March Of The Dead On Kickstarter
April 30, 2017 by brennon
Trough & Tankard, and the sculptor Phil Hynes are on Kickstarter right now and closing in on the final hours of their project to bring a horde of the undead to life.
This collection of 28mm undead characters is great for adding into skirmish games and more. As well as the regular shambling undead that you know and love there are plenty of more characterful pieces too. For example here's the Sinister Necromancer!
He may indeed have brought this collection of characters to life, risen from their graves to serve him in undeath. Some of the character designs he has come up with are fantastic.
It's not often that you get to say that the Undead have a character to them but I think that is the case here. I really like the fellow on the left of this picture above ready to hack his enemies apart with that axe.
Some larger creatures are also in the melting pot for this campaign which easily reached its funding goal including an Undead Minotaur...
...and even an Undead Unicorn.
The campaign doesn't have long left to run but there is a plethora of characters for you to check out and add to your undead army. I think we might have to nudge Lloyd towards this one.
What do you think of the sculpts?

Being raised from the dead turns you left-handed then?
Ambidextrous, being Undead makes you ambidextrous.
Loving the novelty of undead Minotaurs, Unicorns and cattle …….. Well done Trough & Tankard
Really loving the Minotaur and Weresheep, grand looking mini’s 😀 .
Getting shanked by an undead unicorn…what a way to go. 3D sculpting does some amazing stuff (and I love it) but these are another example of how much traditional sculpting has evolved to be able to keep toe-to-toe.
Skeleton Legionary. Awesome!!!
Top stuff, backed the whole thing!
