A Mighty Halfling Army Assembles From Westfalia On Kickstarter
December 15, 2015 by brennon
Westfalia Miniatures have begun their short but sweet (quite fitting!) Kickstarter for their Halfling Army. This will only be running for two weeks but will get you a whole horde of soldiers, cavalry, characters and more for making your very own battalion of happy folk...
In this army you get Halflings with swords, halberds, crossbows, spears, handguns, bows, and even some goat knights! Add to that you get a whole bunch of nice looking characters including Wizards, Champions and even a Paymaster on the back of an Ogre!
You can see a whole bunch of their models all painted up for use in your games above and I could see this being a wonderful stand in for an Empire army in Warhammer Fantasy or maybe a whole new force for use in Kings Of War. It's neat to see the Halflings shake off their country bumpkin style and instead get fully armed and armoured for a scuffle.
Their stretch goals now include some mercenary agents too including a Captain and some Ogres armed to the teeth with pistols and big ol' swords.
Will you be backing this?

already on board with this one, going to make a lovely addition to my ever growing KoW armies, League of Rhordia here I come.
The new ogres that have just been unlocked as well look fantastic.
I’ve gone big incase I want to add some to my Dogs of War and Empire for 8th whamster.
Lovely sculpts, everyone loves weird cav as well, time for people to fear the ram.
If I had a use for these I would buy them all in a heartbeat. Awesome little guys.
Maybe I need to convince someone to play KoW with me.
Nice minis, would definitely consider backing if I had the money, time to paint them and storage space available.
they look awesome!
Bad timing, or I would be on these!
You know, this makes me hope that the new Mordheim rules will include something that these could play as.
Maybe the goblin rules would work well for them.
