Invite The Duchess Gaming Table Into Your Home
June 10, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Yes, that is right you too could have a Duchess living in your home. The nice thing is that this one would earn her keep, because she is a game table.
Right now on Kickstarter there is a campaign going on for a beautiful 5x3 table called The Duchess from BoardGame Tables.Com.
It comes with a recessed top and a padded liner that will be two different colours with one to be decided by backers at the end of the campaign. More importantly you can get the table with cup holders!
There is also an option to have a beautiful topper, so it can be used as a dining room table as well. The table will come in a choice of three finishes and will need some assembly.
What I found equally impressive is that shipping is a nice flat fee even to the EU! I am looking forward to getting this table as it will be the centrepiece in our game room/studio here in the U.S.
Will you welcome the Duchess to your home?

Looks lovely.
But would have liked 6′ x 4′ and green
But why would I buy this table when an ordinary table is much better for playing games?
possible reasons :
– it’s cool
– you don’t have the space for an additional table dedicated to games
– you don’t finish games before dinner or before someone else needs to use it
My good sir…if the game is not done before dinner then to hell with the dinner!
nice table would have brought 2 but Australia got shafted again if that’s the price we must pay to live in this great country so be it. I’m off to my deck overlooking the sea at the start of winter temps 20 degrees/68 degrees Fahrenheit with a bottle of jack to think of how nice those tables would have looked in my games room lol
Are these cast offs from a snooker table company where someone forgot to cut the holes for the pockets?
Jokes aside i can see its use for card games and board games and small mini games but the lip restricts the size somewhat so i will stick with my dining table sideboard and sheets of hardboard table which gives me an 8 x 5 table:-)
