The Dragon-People Of Vore Nash Bring Cunning Hunters To HATE
February 1, 2018 by brennon
The newest optional buy for CMON's HATE is an entirely new tribe and one that is decidedly different from the others. See what you make of the Tribe Of Vore Nash, the dragon-people of Adrian Smith's world.
These dragon-people are some of the most cunning and deadly hunters in the world of HATE. The Shaktaar dwell deep within ancient ruins where they brood and wait for their enemies to come to them, laying deadly traps and dragging you off into the shadows.
Whilst many of the tribes in HATE like direct confrontation, the Vore Nash would prefer you to stumble to your death yourself. They have the ability to lay traps which may provide you with wonderous rewards, or be deadly traps that will snatch your life away.
They also come with some rather awesome looking miniatures as you can see.
Many of their kind would dine on the flesh of humans as a delicacy, but now, in the ruins of the world they seek out human flesh as their main source of food. I don't imagine you'd make it out alive if one of these beasts caught you.
I really like Adrian Smith's take on Dragon-people and Lizardmen for this world. They have the look of both Dragonborn and Lizardmen combined and then given their own original spin. Their equipment is slightly inspired by Mayan and Aztec culture, but not so much that it dominates their aesthetic.
Do you think that you'd brave the depths of their ancient ruins in search of gold and riches? I think I'd rather stay away! Although, to be fair, you're going to die in the HATE universe in all manner of different ways already, so why not when delving for buried treasure?
What do you think of the Vore Nash?

Those are bloody brilliant.
Those are stunning.
@brennon You know the Chronicles of Hate comic books? I prefer the Dragon people in these. More regal, thinner, somewhat aloof. Guess they wouldn’t fit so well to the game’s setting though.
But the ones here I like, too.
Think I’d choos between clans Um’Gorr, Um’Cordu and Um’Gar.
They could be the same creatures- except for the prince and champion, but those are basically a different race with every clan.
In any case, I think these are the best minis HATE has to offer.
Wow. Must have.
Fabulous looking beast’s great for a chaos army.
As the Hate KS has just started showing the 8th clan that will come in the box (Bul’Gar) as SGs that WILL be unlocked I’m really not sure that the three $25 Add-On clans are going to be seen as more than a completionists charter…
… The Mother Prophecy add-on though, that’s a different matter!
As I understand it, these add-on-bands significally differ from the ‘regular’ tribes not only visually but also in game mechanics (poisoning, bait/traps and ‘overpowered’ but forced to fast win or loose). That might actually be very valueable for diversified gaming experience and long term fun.
Yeah- I usually love to play the wonky factions (my Blood Bowl Vampires are awesome).
And I think it does help that the add on clans really break up the monotonous feel of the core minis.
I’m liking these just to use in my RPG campaign. Is it possible to pledge $10 with no reward and the add on money to get these, or do you have to buy into the game for $120 and then add on?
Either way, they are good looking minis!
@templar007 Common sense would suggest this were a totally valid option. Yet, in the FAQ at the bottom of the project’s main page there is this:
“Can I purchase just the optional buys?
No. A full Tyrant pledge is required to purchase any optional buys.”
I find this lacking in every regard.
As of January 16th that ( the FAQ ) changed. You can now put down a few dollars and will get access to the PM 😀 . It’s what i’ve done.
Dude- that’s fantastic news!
I am doing a pledge on this, happy add on an order of these for you if you want.
I hate this..so I’m in. The minis alone are exquisite and by the looks the core game alone is so big that it’s good value for money. Although I will probably throw another $75 at Cmon to get the Mother Prophesy, Sarassa tribe and the Art Book. I really hate KS.
