Diehard Miniatures Bring Law & Disorder To Kickstarter

Diehard Miniatures has taken to Kickstarter to release a brand new selection of 28mm Sci-Fi miniatures for you to use in your skirmish games and beyond. The theme for this Kickstarter is Law & Disorder.
Law & Disorder 2 Kickstarter // Diehard Miniatures
Diehard Miniatures continues with the theme of old school designs with epic sculpts from Tim Prow whilst also featuring a guest sculpt from Kev White. Seventy-nine miniatures are hopefully going to be unlocked as the campaign progresses.
Marshal Lex // Diehard Miniatures
The first of the miniatures is from Kev White and it's the limited edition version of Marshal Lex on the back of her Grav Bike. She, like all of the miniatures on the Kickstarter, are metal meaning they have some old school heft to them!
Backing her up, we have the likes of the E-Corp here who are going to be jumping into the midst of the fighting with their pretty badass armour and weaponry.

I really like the masks that these folks are wearing. I get the sense that they are going down into some pretty toxic areas of the city to hunt down criminals. You could also run them as an alien race that can't breathe the oxygen of a post-apocalyptic Earth.
You might also want to call on the aid of some kick-ass Bounty Hunters that could deal with the deadlier elements of any criminal gang that you might come up against.
Elite Bounty Hunters // Diehard Miniatures
I particularly like the fellow at the back with the red and blue helmet. I think he looks the most menacing!
When it comes to enemy figures, you might want to take a chance against these Skeletal Spacemen. They are armed with all sorts of kit, both normal and esoteric.

I guess you have no fear of burning yourself with a lightsaber if you're already dead. I quite like the fellow on the far right, an unfortunate E-Corps soldier that has been killed by some strange psychic.
The final set of initial miniatures is the Death Cult.

I get the sense that these rather spectacular fellows are the ones that have been rising the Skeletal Spacemen from their enforced slumber. They have a fun over-the-top nature to them that wouldn't be out of place in an 80s or 90s Sci-Fi movie.
As well as the miniatures you've seen here, there are going to be fourteen free stretch goal miniatures covering characters, familiars and droids. There will also be a chance to pick up all of the existing miniatures from the Diehard collection.
You will also be able to get your hands on some freebies depending on the level that you pledge.
Are you going to be getting involved?

Fab looking none Megacity (Megacity) figures for gaming.
Really nice models however the kickstarter pledge is as confusing as hell in terms of the levels. Each squad is 18 pounds each which is amazing but standard pledge for one squad is 30 so does that include lex ? Then you have 2 squads are 55 pounds, well 30 plus 18 is 48 so why is two squads more ???? So many of these kick starters have such confusing levels half the time I give up trying to understand what the products are for each level. I think i might just buy direct from the site at least you… Read more »
Marshal Lex is totally Judge from Judge Dredd (maybe Judge Anderson with red hair) while Elite Bounty Hunters are totally Mandalorians from Star Wars.
Those bounty hunters look very mandalorian/clone troopers. Lucasfilm/Disney might say something.
The E-corp are similar to Quarians from Mass Effect.
It does beg the question as to why two talented artists feel it is okay to ‘be inspired’ by other artists original creations and pay nothing to them? Would they be happy if the shoe were on thr other foot I wonder?
yeah this derivative crap always annoys me, regardless of how great or otherwise the sculpts may be. Literally infinite ideas you can play with but you’d rather try and make a fast buck when someone else has done the hard work? Nah not for me.
I think they may be sailing a bit too close to the wind with some of these.
I’m using Diehard Miniatures to build a Stargrave crew and for us ‘oldies’ it’s great to feel nostalgic about Oldhammer style minis.

I’ve used Diehard Miniatures for a BoW/OTT Spring Clean Challenge if anyone is interested in seeing how a Stargrave crew lends itself to these great miniatures…Zebraoutrider digs a Stargrave (Spring Clean Challenge 2022 – Part 2) – OnTableTop – Home of Beasts of War https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1734447/#snav
