The dice Gods are cruel and malevolent, but rumour has it they favour those that offer their first born, or alternatively a cheese toasty. Frankly I don’t have time to make a cheese toasty so first born it is.
The dice god is Crom. He watches games from atop his mountain shrouded in dark, gloomy clouds and obscuring mists from a mighty throne in a great cave. Long ago, he imbued players with the will and desire to game as his only gift to man. He does not answer prayers and disfavors weakness. To call upon his favor or even simply mention him is to invite misfortune and regarded by the wise as a curse or expletive. the goddess of dice is the sister of slaanesh aka the goddess of false promises?
Hmm.. very well.
Granted!
You shall forevermore roll only the blessed fives and sixes..
On a D20.
I never have ‘sacrificed’ or thrown away bad dice – but they do get relegated to the naughty corner.
You’ve got it all wrong.
It does work.
His dice rolling would have been far worse if he didn’t pray at that altar. 😉
hehhe
