See What’s New For Corvus Belli’s Infinity In June 2022!
May 18, 2022 by brennon
Corvus Belli has been showcasing the new releases coming to the Sci-Fi world of Infinity in June 2022. Five factions are getting something new to play around with including some rather ace models for the Combined and the ALEPH.
Bluecoats // Infinity
The first of the new models for June is one of the Bluecoats for the O-12. Who wouldn't want to play an epic Sci-Fi police officer? Armed with an Adhesive Launcher, the Bluecoats are there to make sure that criminals are almost literally stuck in place. They patrol the decks of the Circulars and watch out for those who are looking to break the law.
With a distinctive set of weapon options, this should be a good specialist to include in your squad of O-12 troops as they do more of the heavy lifting.
Next up, we're moving to the forces of PanOceania (shakes fist at the sky!). Here we have the Nøkken of the Special Intervention and Recon Team.
Nøkken // Infinity
These troops are seen as the hit-and-run option for the Svalarheima WinterFor. They are very, very good at striking when you least expect it, making their hit and then vanishing off into the snow (or appropriate environmental cover). They can be deployed as part of a vanguard and are protected by their Mimetism (-6) Skill.
Whilst I know a lot of folks have a bone to pick with PanOceania, I do like the look of their miniatures. You get the sense of just how deadly these individuals are, especially with the featureless faceplate/mask giving them an uncanny appearance.
A new JSA and Na2 character joins the Infinity collection as well in the form of Oniwaban Shinobu Kitsune.
Oniwaban Shinobu Kitsune // Infinity
Armed with her Monofilament Blade, she is a force to be reckoned with and someone that you wouldn't want to be ambushed by on the tabletop! The name "Shinobu Kitsune" appears on no database and if you were to ask an investigator, you would get the answer that no such person exists. She is an assassin, martial arts expert and spymaster who has been resculpted to be added into a myriad of different forces no doubt.
The miniature is posed really nicely, dashing towards the enemy with a sword at the ready. You can also give her a super cool hat if you like which adds to the "wandering ronin" feel of the miniature.
Big New Infinity TAGS
Moving on to the Combined, we have the Bultrak Mobile Armored Regiment.
Bultrak Mobile Armored Regiment // Infinity
This is another of the new thermoplastic miniatures from the folks at Corvus Belli. The Combined get themselves a hefty Bultrak TAG that can provide you with heavy support when taking to the field of battle. This would be a solid way to expand things beyond the Morat Aggression Forces Army Pack if you picked that up recently.
"We are chaos wrapped in metal" was part of the description for this miniature. As if the Combined couldn't be any cooler. The pose of the miniature is distinctly predatory which works really well with the idea of the Combined.
Not to be left out when it comes to big things, the ALEPH can also call on the Marut to help them in their endeavours.
Marut // Infinity
Drawing from mythology, as the ALEPH like to do, the Maruts come from Hinduism and catch the fierce entities found within raging storms. That has been carried over here with a TAG that features cutting-edge (almost literally) weaponry.
This is another of the thermoplastic miniatures that can be used to really add some "oomph" to your ALEPH force. It has a very cool Gundam feel to its design which I really like, especially when you look at the legs and back. Maybe someone will give this a Voltron makeover?
Are you going to be picking up these June 2022 releases?
"Maybe someone will give this Marut a Voltron makeover? "
Those are stunning.
Fab looking figures blue coat reminds me of Karl Kroenen from Hellboy.
Some fantastic looking figures but I’m guessing s***cast rather than metal 🙁
Only TAGs and drones are made from SioCast as far as I know.
That bluecoat looks like a mailman XD
He is a mailman in the Infinity setting.
It allows for fast delivery of personal messages that don’t need a reply. 😉
? Kevin Costner ?.
Don’t remind me!
Lol.
Gorgeous, but that’s to be expected from CB.
I still prefer the old Marut, though, lovely as this one is.
Luckily I allready have it.
Personally, I am looking forward to the new TAG for the Steel Legion. But this is cool as you said.
The gluegun gunslinger bluecoat is definitely going to join the starmada starter one, and the siocast marut is priced decently enough that I might even get it over the old one (which, nice as this one is, is just superior in every way). The morat mech is a bit more miss than hit though.
Did they ever announce winners from the morat week?
