More Teasers Sneak Out For Infinity Operation: Icestorm

The folks at Infinity have been teasing a few more things about the upcoming Operation: Icestorm over on Facebook. It look like we have our two factions ready to do battle...
So there you have it guys, PanOceania and Nomads make their way to the tabletop soon in some form or another! I know a lot of you have been talking about this already but what do you think of the factions chosen for this prospective starter set? Would you have chosen differently?

Some how I new it wouild be Pan and one other.

I think that there are only a few games on the market where they could put any faction in the box and people would love it, Infinity is high on this list imho. Although I have the current rule books, I am hoping for a smaller version like many lther games do. Oww Oww Oww, could be a chance of another art book? PLEASE! 😀
As I currently play with PanO or Yu Jing in my infinity games, naturally I would have preferred to have seen Yu Jing instead of Nomads in this Ice storm set. For for a starter set for newcomers to the game this looks like a great way to get up and running quickly with Infinity. However, for me at this time, I am more interested in the forthcoming 3rd Edition rulebook.
Pretty cool, I wonder if this will be hard plastic?
it looks cool and i will be buying it anyway but i was hoping the combined army was going to be in the starter set

I am no “guru” but no doubt some will be along presently. Till then, this is my thoughts.
For the Nomads it could be Bakunin: Zero, Moderator, Riot Girl, Moderator, Moderator, Intruder.
For Pan O maybe Acontecimento: Akalis Commando, Acon. Regular, Acon. Regular, Knight of Montesa, Acon. Regular, Akalis Commando.
Of course this may be all wrong! 😀
I’ve been having a hard time trying to choose between the two so it’s a win-win for me. ‘Nuff said. Let me pre-order, if you’d be so kind! 🙂
The Nomads, in order of appearance, are very likely: Zero, Alguacile, Mobile Brigada, Alguacile, Alguacile, Securitate. – the Alguaciles are all but certain.
The PAnO, in order fo appearance, are very likely: Unknown, Fusilier, ORC troop, Fusilier, Fusilier, Nisse. The Fusiliers and ORC are the most certain of those – Nisse is a pretty strong guess.
Akalis Commando is a pretty good guess for the first PanO troop.
