Oh my ! 🙂
Great stuff, especially Maximus, the Charontid and the Suicide Squad.
But what is the model in the back of the Warcor picture?
I believe that is the Cube Jaeger, a Tohaa mercenary unit and the current ITS mini…
The thing I like the most about Infinity minis is the superb sci-fi armour and weapons of the combatants. The detail is gorgeous, even though they are made of the most fiddly glue resistant metal I have ever come across (drooping antennas on my Pano ORC troops helped me develop Touretts syndrome).
Cutting edge futuristic warfare is what I want. The hoplite on steroids doesn’t work for me. It’s an anachronism I find too jarring for a game of Infinity.
I love the Hoplite mini but I am with you on this one, it doesn’t fit the aesthetic 😀
Love the Grey Rifles!
The Hoplite is for Aristeia! not Infinity. It’s an alternate “skin” (as in competitive fighting and fps video games) for Maximus.
OK, Aristeai, right, definitely more sense. I hope that’s a an AP Doru he’s packing!.
Phew, thanks for that clarification Palaeomerus, But looking at the heading of this post ‘January releases for Infinity’ and having Mr. Hoplite in the picture, you can see why there was confusion on my part.
Now that I have had a proper look at this article, it’s obvious.
maximus looks every inch the Spartan. great way to kick off the reskins and a worthy edition also for anyone gaming in the classical age.
the charontid and female warcor are both solid improvements but those Thorakitia are really nice. the morlocks are my favourites though, very cool.
Pretty sweet.
Is that Warcor holding a fidgetspinner?
I need those thorakitai, my Aleph need some boots on the ground and they are excellent line troops.
