PlastCraft Give You Plenty Of Access With New Infinity Color-ED Terrain
June 1, 2016 by brennon
PlastCraft have another great new addition to their Infinity Range coming soon with these neat looking Ramps, Stairways, Platforms & Cover which help elevate the gameplay and have you fighting on multiple levels - we love that!
Here you can see some of their existing buildings with the additional ramps and other stairways built into them providing you with some interesting funnels of action on the tabletop.
While this still provides a proper degree of defence from the enemy as you hunker down behind walls of the building it also makes things interesting when you want to move up and take different positions. The opportunities for where you place objectives and deal with them also grow.
I think some of my favourite from this range which, as you might know by now come completely pre-coloured and ready to go, are these steps. I like the Sci-Fi nature of them thanks to the shape they've been crafted in. Basically, it looks cool!
While ramps, stairs and all sorts aren't something new to the game the fact that the folks at PlastCraft have looked at the range and decided to make their terrain more interactive rather than just big blocks means a lot - especially since it matches with their products.
You'll also see here in more detail some of the other cover and block terrain pieces they have in mind which serve to break up lines of sight and allow you to move around unhindered by the dreaded ARO!
Overall we've got a nice set of terrain here that should be relatively cheap to add to your collection and will look good with the vast majority of Sci-Fi terrain out there for Infinity. Having small pieces like this which you don't have to paint means you could dedicate more time to your miniatures or the rest of your terrain.
We think this is a neat selection from PlastCraft and we hope to see the rest of their Infinity and ColorED range grow over time.
Could you see yourself snapping these up?

I really like the plastcraft stuff- it’s much better quality that you’d expect.
Oh please make the TAG hanger in Colour ED, pretty please?
This times a thousand!! And the TME curved building also 🙂
That stuff is great looking – I’d been looking at some Infinity terrain recently but pre coloured and looking that good, Plast-craft have just gone to the top of the list
I on some of the plain white containers for use in Relic Knights. They are the best terrain you can buy for the price.
I like the PlastCraft stuff but its a bit bright for my tastes.
I have a bunch of this ColorED Infinity range already, and can confirm the stuff looks good irl, in addition to being easy / quick to put together. I was tempted to buy some of the recent Yu Jing stuff, but was partially put off in that I’d have 2 different looking sets.
I’ll buy some of this stuff though once its released though, with perhaps a smattering of the Yu Jing stuff (like the corner Sushi bar).
Great stuff, couldn’t recommend PlastCraft’s ColorED scenery enough.
This is what it was needed, perfect!
When is it out?
I think after Plastcraft reveal this stuff, it’s typically within a month.
Have the tag hanger. Bought some coloured at salute and must say they are a much better product.like the new stuff a lot and will be getting some when they come out if the budget stretches .
Love the price for this stuff (considering the dimensions of what you get, and it being ready to go). Good to hear that the quality of it is good also!
Glad to see they have gone back to a solid core rather hollow corrugated material, didn’t buy the yu Ying because of that.
I bought some of the post apocalypse ColorED stuff and unfortunately I ruined nearly every piece because the superglue bonded the parts INSTANTLY and I wasn’t able to get them aligned properly. Ended up having to carve the parts off each other and by then they didn’t fit properly even if I had managed to glue them straight on a second try. Does anyone have any advice on assembling these kits? What type of glue do you use? How do you get the pieces to align perfectly every time?
When first assembling the colorED Infinity terrain (the first wave that has a similar aesthetic to the buildings in this article), I used superglue (Loctite), but I made sure to dry fit it all beforehand to see how it would all go together, because as you say, this stuff seems to stick together really quickly and once that happens, you can’t really break it apart very easily.
It occurs to me that some scotch tape might be perfect for assembling these. I’ll have to try it and see if they can be broken down or if the tape peels the finish off. Either way I think it will be easier for me to get them together properly with tape instead of superglue.
