New Expansion Packs & Essentials Sets For Infinity In February!
January 14, 2025 by brennon
Corvus Belli are looking ahead to a bunch of new releases in February for the Sci-Fi world of Infinity. There are some great new Expansion Packs and Essentials Sets that you'll be able to pick up for a couple of different factions.
Kestrel Expansion Pack Beta // Infinity
This set comes with three miniatures for use with your Kestrel Sectorial Army, an extension of PanOceania. You get one Magistrate with Heavy Pistol and Stun Pistol, one Jackal with Submachine Gun and one Jackal with a Rocket Launcher. A good way for you to deal with not only lighter threats but also heavier ones like TAGs!
If you'd prefer to enhance your Shindenbutai force for JSA, you can also get your hands on an Expansion Pack for them too.
Shinbenbutai Expansion Pack Beta // Infinity
This set has you looking to expand the Shindenbutai Sectorial Army including the Kyojin Killer with Heavy Flamethrower, Kyojin Killer with DA CCW and one Yamabushi Paramedic with a Tactical Bow. I do like the idea of a tactical bow. Who wouldn't want to be firing deadly arrows at your enemies?
Yu Jing Reinforcements
A new expansion pack is also available for those looking to build up a Yu Jing force for use in Infinity. The White Banner Expansion Pack Beta is available for you to pre-order.
Yu Jung White Banner Expansion Pack Beta // Infinity
This set comes with three miniatures for the White Banner Army. You get the Yin-She with MULTI Marksman Rifle, one Gudan with Light Shotgun and one Gudan with Submachine Gun. Use these alongside the White Banner Action Pack and you'll have a great collection with plenty of options.
New Infinity Essentials Products
As well as the new sets, you can also get some great new sets for Essentials which is a great introductory way to dive into Infinity. Sticking with Yu Jing, you can get your hands on a new Action Pack.
Essentials: Yu Jing Action Pack // Infinity
This has been designed as a great starting point for someone wanting to play Yu Jing. Inside the set, you'll get...
- Zúyŏng with Missile Launcher
- Zúyŏng with Boarding Shotgun
- Zúyŏng with Combi Rifle
- Dāoyīng with MULTI Sniper Rifle
- Liú Xīng Hacker with Boarding Shotgun
- Hǎidào with Combi Rifle
- Zhanshi with HMG
- Zhanshi Hacker with Combi Rifle
- Húláng with Combi Rifle
- Zhēnchá with Submachine Gun
As well as the Yu Jing force, you could also check out the Nomad Action Pack which could be paired up against Yu Jing.
Essentials: Nomad Action Pack // Infinity
This set comes with...
- Securitate with HMG
- Securitate Hacker with Combi Rifle
- Securitate with Boarding Shotgun
- Mobile Brigada with MULTI Rifle
- Spektr with Combi Rifle
- Grenzer with Combi Rifle
- Morlocks with Chain Rifle
- Sin-Eater with HMG
- Mary Problems with a Submachine Gun
A solid set for those who want to flaunt the law and go their own way in the world of Infinity. I like the mixture of both human and alien troops within the Nomads faction.
A couple of additional Support Packs are available for you to get your hands on as well to help enhance both the PanOceania and JSA.
Essentials: JSA Support Pack // Infinity
Essentials: PanOceania Support Pack // Infinity
The PanOceania set comes with four miniatures including the Trauma-Doc with Combi Rifle, one Machinist with Combie Rifle and two Palbots. A good way for you to use when expanding on what was available as part of the core Essentials set. A Doctor, Engineer and some Remotes!
The JSA pack comes with the same mixture of Doctor, Engineer and Remotes including the Tokusetsu Butai Doctor with Combi Rifle, a Tokusetsu Butai Engineer with Combi Rifle and two Yáozăo. Again, both of these would be perfect for enhancing the core Essentials set.
All of these miniatures are available for pre-order now ahead of a launch at the end of February!

Lovely looking sets but…. Where my warcrow reveals?
Tomorrow 😉
One thing Workshop does well (and I’m not fanboy) is a consistent silhouette. Weapons are also (usually) similar between units: a bolter is recognisably a bolter, a pulse rifle a pulse rifle.
With Infinity I rather struggle to identify the weapons a unit is armed with because they’re all so different.
