Micro Art Secure Their Star Wars Imperial Depot & New Bases Too!
December 5, 2018 by brennon
Micro Art Studio has been working away on some awesome terrain and more for use in your games of Star Wars: Legion. We start with the Imperial Depot which has been designed as a place to store your war machines before they go stomping some Rebels.
The kit has been designed out of HDF and is large enough for you to include some of the walkers from the game but looks like the perfect place for an infantry clash on the tabletop. It can come apart into different sections too allowing you to play inside it too.
As well as the different layers inside and the interior options, giving you the chance to create hanger bays rather than one large complex, it also has sliding doors which are perfect for those little narrative moments as the Storm Troopers come pouring out.
I think that the terrain could then be treated to fit into whatever terrain you have on hand. You could cover it with greenery if this is something that you'd imagine being on the forest moon of Endor, or instead coat it in ice if you're looking to fight over Hoth.
Space Bases
As well as the larger terrain piece there's also a set of new bases from Micro Art Studio which will allow you to base your Star Wars: Legion figures.
These bases would be great for those looking to play out games set within urban and interior locations. Whilst the immediate thought is to just base your Storm Troopers on these I think it would be great for your Rebels too, showing off a clash perhaps on the streets of Coruscant?
You can see more of the base sizes and different designs over at their New Releases Section. One thing to note is that there are guidelines on here for facings but they are worked into the designs rather than being apparent grooves.
Infinity Objectives & More
As well as the Star Wars: Legion terrain the team at Micro Art Studio has been working away on some new objectives for use in your games of Infinity. For example, we have the Panoply...
...as well as the Antenna. Both of these have been designed to work as objectives that you set up on the tabletop for your teams to fight over.
Being used as both cover and potential objectives you can also get your hands on the D4 Storage Vaults which you could see being used across numerous tabletops in order to give them that High Sci-Fi feel.
Micro Art Studio has also been working on a whole range of additional bases for your armies and warbands. You can check out the entire selection HERE.
Are you going to be snagging any of this new terrain for yourselves?

Ooh love the hanger/ warehouse great for gaming a buch/Sundance last stand or something.
Has the Star Wars Legion stuff been officially licensed? Just curious.
really impressed with this. have other micro art stuff and it’s always top of the line.
Is it just me, or does the hanger look like a buried (headless) AT-AT? ?
An AT-AT is really more of a walking warehouse with a head. 🙂
Very nice.
These look fantastic!
You could probably make that warehouse out of Paper, cardboard and foam core to be honest. I mean the time it takes to put it together you could of built a warehouse for £5.00 – £10.00
