High-End Acrylic Command Board For Infinity Now On Kickstarter
September 19, 2017 by stvitusdancern
Anyone who plays Infinity knows one it is a really cool game and two there are a lot of tokens to remember.
It can get confusing at times to know orders that have been used and movements etc. Now on Kickstarter is a new campaign to try and help solve this dilemma. High-End Acrylic Command Board for Infinity by Skowronek is offering some beautiful acrylic boards with colour graphics to help organize your Infinity games.
You will get a control board to track orders and effects, a support deck to hold extra tokens as well as measuring sticks in different lengths (2", 4", 6", 8") as well as a transport deck to hold your miniatures and make it easier to move them from location to location.
There are other pledge levels that allow you to upgrade to other tokens to give you a nice assortment for all your game playing needs.
Some may say that this is one of those luxury accessories, but to me, I think they help organize the game and can help make the gameplay that much smoother. As of the date of this new piece they are two-thirds funded with 21 days to go. If you are an Infinity player this one is definitely one to check out.
What do you think?

I do think it is a clever idea and could be very useful for newer players. The measuring sticks will definitely going to be useful for most people. Also the tokens look good.
However while this is interesting, I cannot say I’ve ever had an issue with recording my orders, nor have I come across anyone other than very new players that can struggle with the orders.
With that in mind I’d say this isn’t necessarily for me, but maybe for newer players.
I agree with @rekky – and there are also the issue of space – they seem rather large
i always thought something like this would be nice for infinity. it might not be nessercery but it adds to that slick and sexy scifi vibe.
i’ll take a closer look when i have time. i might wait for them to iorn it out as a concept and hang on for a version two. we may well see others do something similar now the cats out of the bag.
great idea though
