September 29, 2016 by brennon
Corvus Belli and Studio Giraldez are joining forces once again for Masterclass Volume 2 which will be available to pre-order from October 17th 2016.
Additionally, if you pre-order between October 17th and November 14th you'll be able to get your hands on an Exclusive Miniature too.
The first Volume went down a storm and John here in the studio used it to try and improve his skills. You can check out his Live Blog about it HERE.
Will you be snapping this up?

sold
its going to be even better than the first one and the exclusive miniature is the cherry on top. two miniatures per faction, plus tips from the master and the new luxumbra busts showcased.
its going to be epic.
ben @chillreaper posted a picture of his gujia that won best painted at the uk infinity masters.
its on the Gutier uk seminar thread. it certainly deserves a golden button and I was a bit worried it might go under the radar.
This guy. Seriously. This guy.
What I loved about his first book is that the pictures were so big. It seems laughably simple but a lot of painting tutorials seem more concerned with showing you how well they can paint rather than how it is done. In Angel’s first book, while the descriptions might be fairly economical, you can *see* the brush strokes and he doesn’t dress it up. It’s about getting paint into a model and and being thoughtful, expressive and precise about how you do it.
I might buy the second book. Haven’t decided yet. 😛
yay another book to put my painting to shame.
Can’t wait for this. I love his work and respect the dedication he took to get to this point. Have seen some of his early stuff and it was miles away from where he is today. Shows what true heart and dedication to mastering something can get you. Congrats to Angel and the entire Infinity team.
I don’t have the time or the inclination to master this level of painting …but I still want this! 😀
Still haven’t painted Joan from the last book….
Hah! …me either… 😛
nor me….
Book is definitely getting pre-ordered here.
Just to slightly derail the attention from the primary focus, which is of course, the super-awesome book, I’m really interested in knowing what the pre-order miniature is.
Simply because I’m debating on whether to convert an existing Crane Agent mini that I have. If I turn it into a hacker, you can guarantee that less than 48 hours later, the new mini will be revealed to be a Crane Agent Hacker.
If I were to guess, than I would probably guess that it is indeed a Crane Agent, but beyond that, I’ve no idea what the profile would be.
If pushed, I’d say that the nub at the centre of the head, might be caused by a sword being lifted up and pointed. A complete guess.
I’d be skeptical that a Hacker would find itself attached to an artbook; I think you’d get a model that was more of a centre piece (Joan was the last one, while you had Miranda before that).
Crane Agent Hacker conversion is underway!
If the book mini turns out to be one, I’m hunting you down, Fleetey 😛
consider my preorder in!!
Does anyone if the numbers are limited on this one like they were with the first one?
I don’t think so. They didn’t think there would be a lot of interest in the first book so to save money Angel only had a small print run made rather than be stuck with books he couldn’t sell. They learned that lesson. This time around it should be a much larger first printing.
One day I will release a book just like Angel Giraldez, but I will have it focused on my mastery of the dip and shake that I’m confident that he has yet to showcase.
I just hope the exclusive miniature will be that female Nomad bust. That looks awesome.
I did not like the previous one. Was a kind of album more than a book to teach painting. Very nice pictures and it is true that the color schemes were there. But not what I expected about techniques.
