Antenociti’s Workshop Fly In On The Artefaktech Efreet
February 20, 2017 by brennon
Antenociti's Workshop has shown off concept art for a new flyer which should be making its way to the tabletop for your games of Infinity. See what you think of the Artefaktech Efreet.
Based on the artwork of Vitaly (NovA29R) Vostokov this isn't a faction specific flyer but it would have been made by Haqqislam companies and used by the Maghariba Guard.
The folks at Antenociti do some fantastic work on their vehicles and this would be a superb model to see on the tabletop. Admittedly these things effectively become terrain pieces but I'm sure you could come up with some rules for it if you really wanted to get some game mechanics out of it.
What do you think?

ooh that look fabulous like a 21.5 centuary blackhawk ?
would be great for Avengers/S.H.I.E.L.D. flyer.
Must have this as I really wanted the Grendal which never appeared sadly.
Or the City Hopper. Or the Azure Dragon. Or most of the vehicles off their first Kickstarter
I was told the Grendal was still in the works. I’ll settle for this one though 🙂
I have two of their warthogs and three of their grav tanks, and am quite happy with them.
I think they’re all “still in the works”. There’s some pictures of the Super Hawk on their Facebook page – it’s huge. And with Antenociti’s prices being akin to Forge World (as is the quality) you might need to start saving those pennies!
Glass half full I suppose.
You probably mean the “Roc”. It was suspended whilst investigating plastic injection production. That was too expensive so it was ‘re-started’ for resin production a couple of weeks ago.
It was sent off for 3D design last week, and will be out to KS around early summer.
Looks amazing. But they seem to have a very slow turnaround on these projects and they’re also incredibly expensive – they’re good, but they are also very expensive.
In their defense, I believe that Antenocitis had some problems (staff getting rather ill), which because they have a relatively small pool of staff, had the obvious knock on effect in getting their first kickstarter out to their backers as quick as they could. I’ve no doubt they would have wanted to get things out quicker (they know people want to buy stuff from the first KS), but sometimes these things can’t be helped. I think lessons have been learned since that first KS. And yeah, you typically pay a bit more for AW’s stuff, but it is probably some… Read more »
Cheers Fleetey, Given the choice between getting something out quickly, and doing it right, we’re going with doing it right. There’s a blog post due soon with some more information on *various things*… a lot of work has been going on in the background. A lot has changed here. I do just want to remind everyone that there is no guarantee that an item from a Kickstarter will make it into production though – some will not. Production costs, materials availability (so no alien plants), currency fluctuations (hello Brexit) and licensing/legal – all factors generally overlooked but rather significant. From… Read more »
So… Grendal or no Grendal? Craig must have! 🙂
Wow! That is flippin lovely!
Maybe and I don’t want to sound too critical of them because I do buy a lot of their stuff, but I was under the impression the issues with the first kickstarter (based on the rather large post that they placed here on BoW) were due mostly to the lack of experience with MDF laser cutting. But there were four resin vehicles on their Forward Base Kickstarter, only one of which is currently available at retail (that one being one of the old Governance of Technology vehicles). The other three are nowhere to be seen. I am assuming that most… Read more »
FB was finished Christmas 2016.
The release of some of the FB items was going to be January, but we stopped them for *reasons* (blog post in due course)
I’m after a CityHopper. Just putting that out there…

Would be great to incorporate to battletech.
