Exclusive Infinity Sneak Peek: Szalamandra Squadron
November 16, 2017 by brennon
We've got an awesome exclusive sneak peek at a new miniature coming to Infinity soon from Corvus Belli. See what you make of the Szalamandra Squadron.
Working for the Nomads and the Tunguska Jurisdictional Command this is a rather badass nightmare of a TAG to use on your opponents. It carries a Hyper Rapid Magnetic Cannon that can deliver a burst of armour piercing ammo, able to drill a hole through even the thickest protection.
According to Carlos himself "It goes like BZZZZZZZZ...and then they're gone!"
What do you make of this new creation?
Drop your thoughts below...
That is rather lovely!
Oh my 😀 …
This is SEXY!
Ho…..ly…..cow. That thing is amazing and totally unrecognisable from it’s previous incarnation. I have a serious case of TAG envy!
This hammers home the fact that the Nomads have some of the best looking TAGs in the Human Sphere.
Bit that I have a problem with any of the other Tags and don’t think they look awesome as well, but it is really nice to see one using their gun.
I’ll be getting this one day 1; hopefully it gets released before Christmas.
Makes me think that I haven’t been playing enough infinity…
Oh my. I may need to switch from Corregidor to Tunguska
I do not like the way CB is going, but it is just my opinion. Yeah, the old szalamandra was way too original. It had to be standardized. Also, one of the few with integrated guns…We needed huge guns (all similar). Better to convert this tag in “another bigger version of a heavy infantry”. The differences between troops are getting subtler day by day.
Most of the miniatures we have seen so far lacks of interest if you look at them from the sides or behind. I could say this is a well balanced sculpture, and maybe you can count one or two more in the entire history of miniature wargames that fulfill this. For me, the best sculpture in the entire Infinity range not because of the spectacularity (Avatar is far more spectacular), but because the well balanced of details over the whole miniature. Hail to Javier Ureña (sculptor).
Looks amazing! This is definitely a collectors piece
I don’t care what that’s overcompensating for … that is astonishing. ¡Estupendo!
Shut the **** up, and take my money
the old one is kind of retro cool but this fella is on another level. packed with detail with a seriously dangerous looking gun and a paint scheme to match.
Killer!!
