Check Out Corvus Belli’s Infinity Releases For January 2023
December 6, 2022 by brennon
Corvus Belli have shown off the miniatures coming for the month of January! 2023 is fast approaching and that means a whole new year of Infinity releases. Things get started with Léi Gōng, Invincibles Lord Of Thunder.
Lei Gong, Invincibles Lord Of Thunder // Infinity
Lei Gong is an icon of the StateEmpire and is a hero both when it comes to the HexaDome and the battlefront. He comes with enhanced movement capabilities due to his suit and is armed with a submachine gun. He also has a Multispectral Visor L1 that allows him to hone in on his prey. His status as a hero also means that he can dive into the fray and take command should the worst happen to your Yu Jing officers.
The next miniature that is coming for the month of January is the Wardrivers (Hacker).
Wardrivers (Hacker) // Infinity
Wardrivers travel around the Sphere offering up their services to the highest bidder. Need a lock cracked or a system brought to its knees? These Wardrivers will be able to do the job, as long as you come up with the goods. They are also able to dive into a bit of cybercombat should the need arise.
If your force is lacking a good hacker or you just want to run this character because you like the miniatures, make sure to seek him out. I love the design of the miniature, essentially wearing their civvies and sneaking around the battlefield, hacking and disrupting at will.
New Infinity Fireteams
As well as the two new characters, there are also a couple of Fireteam Packs for you to snap up. There are options for the Nomads and the Combined with the Nomads leading the way with their Corregidor Fireteam Pack Alpha.
Corregidor Fireteam Pack Alpha // Infinity
This set has been designed to offer up more firepower when building on your Nomads in Operation: Crimson Stone. As you can see, you can either hose down your foes with bullets or bring something like a TAG to its knees with the use of that rocket launcher.
There is also the new Shasvastii Expansion Pack Alpha.
Shasvastii Expansion Pack Alpha // Infinity
This has been designed to expand on your Shasvastii Action Pack with options that allow you to take down your foes through a mix of concealment, deception, treachery and downright backstabbing. Terror, fear and paranoia is the name of the game here with the Shasvastii and if you like kicking ass with aliens, these folks fit the bill.
New Infinity Terrain
Last but not least, there is also a new pack of terrain for you to use when diving into Infinity.
Hlokk Station Scenery Expansion Pack // Infinity
This set is also there to expand the options available with Operation: Crimson Stone and does a great job of allowing you to build Infinity tabletops with ease. You get an Objective Room, two small Buildings, a Sniper Tower, Console, two Bridges, two Staircases, Inner Ladder, Inner Walkway and a paper gaming mat. I like the look of MDF, plastic and resin terrain but I think that these cardboard terrain packs are fantastic for just setting up and getting straight into the action.
Combine this with some of the other terrain sets from Corvus Belli and you'd have a brilliant range of terrain to choose from when creating interesting tabletops.
What do you make of the Infinity offerings for January 2023?
"Lei Gong is an icon of the StateEmpire and is a hero both when it comes to the HexaDome and the battlefront..."
One of these days I’ll get some CodeOne in…
hahaha, I like how you wrote the article, considered it, and wrote the first reply to it yourself.
To be fair, I’m thinking about CodeOne myself, since I play Infinity so irregularly that I forget anything beyond the basics… The terrain kit looks good by the way, and isn’t too bad prisewise!
Paint the first one white an call him Ulysses 32.
I’m thinking more Mark or Keith from Gatachaman/G-Force/Battle of the Planets….
Great looking miniatures all around.
