Bandua Add Some Height To Infinity With New Aztec Apartment Buildings
May 25, 2015 by brennon
Bandua have been working away on some neat looking buildings for Infinity that form their new Aztec series. The three building types they have below are nmed the Tlaloc, Xolotl and Atl Apartments and give you reason to add a bit of height to your games of Infinity with perfect positions for snipers and more...
Finding Higher Ground
The buildings have been made to give you few options for adding height and variety to your games of Infinity. As well as giving you ample space to actually place TAGs and such high up to fight on rooftops they have also given a lot of different access points to the buildings which means your soldiers can navigate them with ease...
I think my favourite of the three would have to be the final one, the Atl Apartment, because of the way in which the levels are staged. I think they give a nice bit of variety to the building and the way in which you access it from the stairs up one side means that snipers aren't going to just be happy sitting there all game.
Which is your favourite?

they look dam good.
Apartments are fantastic. They all look stunning – a little bright for me, but that’s what washes are for!
I would sacrifice people on top of them.
There appears to be no access to the interior of the buildings. The biggest one looks like it is hollow. Seems a shame on such large buildings. The outside looks great though and I suppose they might be able to fit other terrain inside them for storage. I am looking forward to antenocitis workshops urban buildings that are on the way.
I ponied up for a bunch of the Antenocities buildings, along with all the interior bits.
That was shortly before I actually started to play Infinity…
I now realise that I’m never going to see the inside of a building in a game, so I’m not too fussed about these things having no interior. Have to say, they do look pretty interesting and definitely cooler than the usual “box with things stuck to it” style.
If I can’t get my mitts into the middle of a building, they’re not for me. We play sci-fi RPG, where the whole room could be important.
My infinity groups have always used building interiors. They ad d so many cool ways to navigate the table and avoid an ARO or get in position for that important shot. It also means you lose less table space in a built up area. Give it a go and you and your group will love such play. The best thing to do is leave roofs off unless you have someone on top to start with. This way everyone remembers they can use that space in the game

I’ll have to agree with others in that while these buildings do look nice, when it comes to the practicality of using these, it is most likely going to be very fiddly trying to move a model around if they are sitting inside a building when you’ve potentially got others on bridges going over building / on the roof / on the gangways / etc…
I would say they are not bad, but they just don’t appeal to me.

I’ve been tempted to use the Saturation Zone rules for troops inside buildings – bit of extra cover due to all the bits and pieces in there.
That way, Missile Launchers, Flamethrowers, Grenade Launchers etc. would be good for clearing troops out there – just the way it should be!
What I normally do is say the interior is a low vis zone. This is negated if the shooter or the target is in base contact with an opening ( into or out of the occupied building/room) simple an effective. Saturation could work in the same way.
Right! Antenocitis, get cracking!
I need some buildings to hide in!
