Luxumbra Aim To Unlock Joan Of Arc Bust On Kickstarter
March 11, 2017 by brennon
If the Luxumbra team are able to get their way up to $130,000 on Kickstarter then they are going to be unlocking another bust for you to play around on with your paints. See what you make of the concept work going into Joan Of Arc from Infinity.
It looks like if she is made available as part of the project then you will have a choice of her without her helmet on, seen above, or with the helmet on - ready for battle.
Of the two versions, I think that the one without her helmet would be rather harder to paint but would yield some rather epic results if you got it right. I like the idea of doing a dark and light version of her too...as if she'd been corrupted by something out there in the vast expanse of space.
What do you think?

I’ve picked up the 75mm o-yoroi pilot and will be adding the 75mm ajax before the end.
despite the four busts being excellent none are of troop types or characters that really speak to me, Joan on the other hand certainly does and if she unlocks I will be taking the plunge.
i’m with you with regards to her being better without the helmet though, fingers crossed she unlocks.
I wouldn’t mind the Mobile Brigada bust to make her way to the game tbh.
Less than 17k and 8 days still left to unlock her!
Painting these figures ‘as they shouldn’t be’ is indeed a nice prospect. I’m still pondering if I will paint the Morat with green skin, turning it into an Orc or Blanka type character.
The O-Yoroi will definitely get a nod to a well-known anime character.
I hope they manage to unlock her, because it is the best looking one of the lot.
Plus the helmet version gives allows for an ‘easy’ to paint version that still looks good.
*update* with 3 hours to go (at this time) she is unlocked 🙂
There is an additional stretch goal for a 75 mm Morlock, but I doubt they’re going to get that one in unless they’re very very lucky …
Total cost for ‘everything’ is 295$ excluding shipping
