Go For Your Gun Against Infamy’s Gunslinger Defence Bot
July 21, 2014 by dracs
The Kickstarter for Infamy: Welcome to the Big Smoke is currently working towards its next stretch goal, which will see a multi-armed mechanical gunslinger come over from the United States.
This is the Mk1 Defence Bot, a robot with more guns than the NRA. The defence bot has been brought over from States to provide back up to anyone who can afford this piece of wild west tech.
The concept of the model is fantastic, the flaring coat and multiple arms creating a sense of motion, as though he has been captured in the middle of a massive shoot out. The western design also makes the bot stand out from the other models of Infamy, and I could imagine it turning up in Wild West Exodus as well. If this is the Mk1 I hope there'll be a Mk2 knocking around.
Are you fast enough on the draw to challenge Infamy's Defence Bot?
Mad but interesting.
That thing is like straight from pages of comic book.
General Grievous, wild west style.
When I saw this the first thought in my mind was to make some house rules for Wild West Exodus.
More and more interesting ideas and miniatures coming out of this Kick Starter and still 20 days to go.
General Grievous crossed with Commander Zod!
That’s magnificently bonkers!
This was so six grand ago. All thanks to the Full English!
My favourite of all the models I’ve seen so far and pretty much convinced me to back this on its own.

Beautiful stuff !
But these minis are somehow too beautiful for am game, this is collector and master painter level stuff. I can’t see myself playing this or by any stretch doing a worthy paint job.
For my taste less is sometimes more.
Nah… this one’s easy to do in an above tabletop manner.
Did I just hear Romain say he was going to do a 3 Colours Up tutorial for the Mk1 Defence Bot? That’s what it sounded like to me lol
If we can get one, we’ll see ! 🙂
The upcoming stretch goals have just been announced and among them is a painting tutorial by Ben Komets for the Mk1 so a second one would seem a little superflous. Any other minis in the range you’d like to paint as a tutorial? I’ll badger (no pun intended) James to make it happen 🙂
Ah, well, if the great Ben Komets is in on this, there’s really no point… They do have Painting Buddha on their side !
I certainly didn’t mean to imply that you shouldn’t do it because Ben is, just that it would seem superfluous to do it if there’s already one out there available for free. I’d still love to see you tackle one of the minis in the range 🙂
this things is super awesome looking!
