Monstrous Beasts & More Coming To Hordes’ Legion Soon
January 11, 2018 by brennon
It seems we're not done with the previews of what lies ahead for Hordes and Warmachine this year. Party Foul once again posted up some fascinating looks ahead with these great concept pieces by Privateer Press.
There are some fascinating characters coming to join the ranks of Legion for example with Anamag The Doom Feaster who has managed to accrue quite a collection of heads!
You also have this fellow, Ammok The Truthbearer, who we get to see in colour. He appears to be carrying some huge idol or contraption into battle which no doubt has a ruinous effect on the enemy.
Characters seem to be the focus as they also included this fellow into the mix, Gorag Rotteneye, possibly my favourite of the concept pieces we saw in this haul of information.
It's awesome seeing what they've done with the armour, the skulls adorning the large spikes that shoot from his back and that blighted expression on his face.
Chosen Of Everblight
We also got a look at some monstrous cavalry for Legion with these fellows here...
Not just chaps riding beasts but fellows who have been warped and changed into beasts! I reckon these are going to be quite the hit when they land later this year as options for Legion of Everblight.
Flying Fiends
But that's not all! There was also the sound of wings in the air with some giant creatures like Golab.
And, if that didn't quite take your fancy then there are some other winged beasts too like the Blighted Rotwings to make you happy. They look like smaller versions of the character Warbeast above.
Are you a fan of what you're seeing here for the world of Hordes this year?
We're getting a lot of fascinating models which fall into themed categories which is good to see.
What do you think?

I must admit of these I only like the Ogrun-Centaurs. They are the only designs I find really fitting the faction’s aesthetics and that meet my personal preferences. (yeah, Dragon Ogres, no candidate for originality here… but still)
And I’m a friend of the Legion of Everblight’s visual style from the first hour on and also especially of the blighted Ogrun (Thagrosh and the Mongers, not the Spears).
They are big strapping lads (and lass) might be necessary, or just buckling to fashion trends 🙂
What is it about fantasy and their love of belts? Seems like fantasy always needs 2-3 belts across the waist, over the wrists and maybe the throat for those sexier scenarios.
Always have three in case the other two break.
Well they can’t have ammo pouches, so they go with belts instead.
Also, two or three broad belts can be used to substitute for a proper weightlifting belt or belly armor.
Sweet Odin’s remaining eye! Those are AMAZING!
I like the freaky bird thing (despite the apparent lack of belts).
😀 😀 😀 (Don’t ever change mate)
Enough belts will restrict changing ☺
The only thing better than great beasts is more great beasts.
Chosen look amazing, watch the CID lauch video seems an interesting theme
Finally a Legion of Everblight army I can get behind … No elves=Good elves. Looks great.
Your commitment to the persecution of elves is admirable.
Thank you Sir, I try 😉
I like these models so much, I may start playing Legion. Extra points for designs that do not overhang their bases in a game that requires precise measurements.
Show me the models! 🙂
