The Druid Mist Riders Gallop Forth For Circle Orboros In Hordes
September 22, 2016 by brennon
A unit of Druid Mist Riders for Circle Orboros are galloping and leaping their way into the world of Hordes this month from the folks at Privateer Press.
"Mounted on swift Skirovik mountain goats native to the northern Khadoran peaks, these blackclads bring the speed and ferocity of a summit storm to bear as they strike from walls of churning mist. Once a rider learns to harness the elements of these remote mountains, he shrouds his form in fog or sheets of rain that blend his silhouette into those of trees and rocks while flashes of lightning sear his opponents."
These mighty steeds look like they'd be able to take a man down on their own. However, add in the rider on their back with a massive axe in hand and you have a formidable unit to contend with.
I like the sculpting here and most of the mounts look to have a natural sense of movement about them. Mix in those deadly cloaked riders and you've got a very cool looking package.
What do you think of the Mist Riders?
"...add in the rider on their back with a massive axe in hand and you have a formidable unit to contend with"
What do I think? I think I do not need a circle army, I do not need a circle army, I do not need a circle army……over and over again. Who knows it may work, but I doubt it ….sigh
Stay strong, dragon
Thanks Geezer … (stiffens trembling lip ) …… I’ll try
Those do look really good.
nice will bring a new meaning to death from above.
While these are nice I still have to give it to the Tharn Wolf Riders as the best kit of this type i think.
Very cool. I do not wish these charging my lines.
They do look strong.
That aside, for such a small model count of five, they could have had each model unique as apposed to having doubles of some of them. It’s the only thing I can see as fumble.
Agreed 🙂
true
Sounds like folks need to learn about conversions 🙂 I am old enough to remember the days of mono-pose ranges, let alone units. *shakes his cane*
In the land of the tiny-legged, the short-legged goat is king…..
