Privateer Press have added two more kits to the round of Hordes miniatures coming your way. As well as that you can take a look at the alternative artwork version of the Iron Kingdoms Unleashed book! We kick things off with the Venator Reivers and Sacral Vault...

Venator Reivers

"Venators have mastered the unique firearm called the reiver. These horrific weapons fire bursts of iron needles that shred their targets. With a lethal swarm of concentrated fire, Venators tear into the most imposing targets, making them among the most valued specialists in the Army of the Western Reaches."

A cruel looking unit that seems to fit in very well with the idea of Skorne. I do really like the look of these miniatures even if there are duplicates all over the shop. I've come to know this about Privateer Press however and so will most others who play Hordes.

Sacral Vault

"A massive edifice dedicated to ritual sacrifice, the sacral vault is constructed to harness and store the energies of death, literally housing the souls of those killed around it to power the dark rituals of the attending bokor. The souls trapped within are unleashed to rend enemies to bloody rags, but not before their bodies are turned against their comrades."

The Gatormen also have their impressive looking Battle Engine. The Sacral Vault is quite the testament to the Gods it seems and I love the creatures pushing it from behind as well as the chap on the top. The actual design of the Battle Engine is cool too, as if they've just uprooted a pillar from the earth and attached wheels to it.

Iron Kingdoms Unleashed (Alt)

Last but not least is the Unleashed alternative artwork cover for the Iron Kingdoms. It contains all the same contents as the regular book and is still in hardback but has been made to look like it's wrapped in bloody animal skin.

Has any of this bought you into the world of Hordes?
