Wargames Atlantic Sneak A Peek At New Kingdom Egyptians

Wargames Atlantic have given folks a sneak peek at some of their upcoming New Kingdom Egyptians that are going to be the first of their (fittingly) Historical First Empires range. Get a look at some of the ideas they've floated below...
New Kingdom Egyptians // Wargames Atlantic
The plan is to create a box of archers and a box of spearmen that could also be armed with regular hand weapons. Sculpting is still ongoing for everything here so if there are thoughts on what you see, you can drop them in the comments over on their website.
I think, as is the case with all of the Wargames Atlantic kits, that these are packed with detail even at this early stage. They also look like they would be nice and modular allowing you to craft all manner of different warriors.
Egyptian Archer // Wargames Atlantic
There seem to be enough options here to create full regiments of troops marching to battle, or smaller skirmishing forces. You've also got lighter and heavier armoured options in there too depending on exactly how you want to make up your force.

Wargames Atlantic continue their march towards being possibly one of the best plastic kit creators in the business. They have covered a range of genres and time periods now, filling in the gaps left by other companies.

This would be interesting to see as part of the makings for a mixed living/undead fantasy force as well. The Eternal Ruler brought back to prominence by The Great Ritual doesn’t need to lead a mass of all skellified subjects. It opens up more wallets to add to one’s Pile of Overwhelming Potential (PoOP).
nice looking figures the Egyptian army was a major force back in the time.
Wargames Atlantic has really been hitting a broad range of gaming needs when it comes to 28mm figures. I have not figured out exactly how I would use these for any of my current projects but I think it is great to see Egyptians like this in plastic.
