Ride Into Battle On The Chinese Chariots Of Watchful I Studios

Watchful I Studios have put together some 3D sculpts for the next step on the road to making their Chinese Warring States army a reality. This time around it's something that thunders across the battlefield looking to smash its way through your lines, Chariots...

The first set to have a look at is the Heavy Chariot which you can see is pulled by four huge horses. This will be the more powerful option when compared to the Light Chariot which will only be pulled by two horses. I'm guessing if you were to look at that in game terms with rules the Heavy Chariot would be less agile but more punchy.

It's neat that it comes with those additional severed heads and it would be good to see some more of those bitz so you could add a number of different heads each time you win a battle with them!

The Officer's Chariot is another option now done in 3D. The driver will come along with that rather fancy looking umbrella to not only keep your Officer dry but also make sure he stands out on the battlefield no doubt. I'm not sure how chariots would have been used in that period of history but I guess the Officers would ride around the battle lines directing the troops rather than engaging themselves.

The Kickstarter will go live March 23rd 2015 so keep an eye out!
