Peter’s Paperboys Show Off More WoFun Plastic Flats!
March 19, 2020 by brennon
Peter's Paperboys showed off some more of the work by WoFun Games as they tinker with the concept of the Peter Dennis Signature Range. Here we got to peek at some of the products that they're going to be selling very soon indeed for the Texan War and the Jacobite ’45 period.
The collection uses the sterling artwork from Peter Dennis and instead of being available as paper troops which you cut out, fold and stick together, you instead snap them out of the plastic and slot them into little bases. They are going to be coming out in both 18mm and 28mm it seems which is an interesting mix but look absolutely glorious, giving us another way to play mass battle games on the tabletop.
The detail on them is superb it's a nice step up to see WoFun playing around with the artwork of other creators in their range. I think the more realistic proportions and focused art style that we're seeing here from the Peter Dennis range really does make a difference for a lot of people.
With these new miniatures getting signed off by Peter Dennis it would be nice to see what they do next. With both of the aforementioned periods covered by WoFun they could start looking at replicating some of the range from Ancient History perhaps? I'd love to see them tackle some alternative Greeks, Romans and Gauls!
What do you think of this collaboration?

Love this!
They are lovely
English Civil War perhaps @brennon
…ooooooh 😉
Some fantasy stuff would be interesting
Such a fan of these. Any of us who opened that first Osprey book as a kid and thought I want minis that look like that – now we can. We could before thanks to paperboys but now I’m not going to drop my head into my hands when my nephew spills his squash and tsunamis his birthday present. Plus “Remember the Alamo” Sarissa has one on Kickstarter and those Mexicans look worth it.
Love these for ospreys Rebel and patriots
nice brings a whole new meaning to the thin red line.
Do they offer recycling for all the spare plastic? Very nice for rank and file games.
I would imagine you can do that yourself with your local recycling collection
The idea is that when packing up the figures slot back into sheet the popped out from so they can be stored flat
Oh neat, I didn’t think of that – very cool idea.
Must admit they look a lot better with Mr Dennis’s artwork on them.
