New Plains Indians Ride To Battle With Wargames Atlantic
November 8, 2023 by brennon
Wargames Atlantic is celebrating National American Indian Heritage Month in November with some awesome new miniatures for folks to use during their 28mm Historical wargames. The set features the American Plains Indians and comes with options for having these warriors on foot and mounted.
American Plains Indians // Wargames Atlantic
This set has been designed to represent the Lakota Sioux who would have appeared and fought at The Little Big Horn. You get four mounted and four foot bodies for you to play around with, each made more modular with the use of different heads and weapons. The set also features three horses which look brilliantly dynamic.

As a whole, the set looks fantastic and should be great to get 3D Printed and painted up for use on the tabletop. Interestingly, Wargames Atlantic asked whether or not folks would be interested in getting a plastic kit of these and I can imagine a lot of folks would come down on the side of yes!

If you're someone that wants to actually play out the battle of Little Big Horn then you might also want to get your hands on the 7th Cavalry. Well, they are also available for you to scoop up and pit against these Lakota Sioux.

Scoop these up from Wargames Atlantic right now and consider them getting painted up for use on the tabletop. I would love to see the different dioramas and such that people come up with showcasing that famous last stand of Custer as the Native Americans close in.
These aren't on Only-Games just yet but fingers crossed they will be in the future!

Oh yes. Old west plains wars here I come
Wow, these actually look good, and not stereotypically racist as most other lines. Someone put some thought into these. I’m interested. Not in the 7th Cav, just the Lakota Sioux.
The are fantastic. Pity they are not a plastic set. The Lakota Sioux Mounted With Spear looks like Wes Studi. I wonder if that was intentional.
So it does!
will be getting in on this
Great looking figures for gaming with I especially like Chieftain Rambo.
