Desperados Roleplaying Game // Pegasus Press

In Desperados, you'll play as a band of cowboys, gunslingers and adventurers who find themselves in all manner of shootouts and maybe a few situations where stealth is the more appropriate approach. The tabletop roleplaying game seeks to echo that element of choice when it comes to your approach to different encounters with a series of adventures which will have you working together with your ragtag bunch of companions.

"The countryside passes by without the least sign of change, accompanied only by the wheels’ monotonous rattle on the rails. Noon has come; relentlessly the sun is blazing down from high above. Then, the eye distinguishes a solitary horseman on the horizon, and only a few seconds later a second one. From both sides, more and more horsemen are heading towards the train."

Inside the set, you're going to get the fully-illustrated Rulebook plus a complete first Adventure and all of the Character Sheets, Maps and Tokens you need to play the game. If you're interested in learning more about how to play then Becca Scott put together a video about it...

Desperados III Review // IGN

The game series looks a lot of fun and the way they've broken down the pen & paper variant of it sounds like it could be worth a go. It is also free, so why not give it a shot?
