Fund More Small Projects For Firelock Games’ Blood & Plunder
January 31, 2020 by brennon
The team at Firelock Games has been showing off a new set of models for use in Blood & Plunder and more from their Firestarter program. We start with the Coureurs de Bois who are your French reinforcements.
These fellows were fur traders and hardy woodsmen who found themselves embroiled in all sorts of clashes with those fighting for control of the frontier. It makes them pretty good allies when you're looking to introduce your enemy to the loud end of a gun down on the coast too or aboard a ship. This set is available now for you to snap up.
Firestarter Projects
As well as the new miniatures above you can also back three projects from Firelock Games. Each set of models will be created if enough people get behind them and back the projects. So, you've got Braves...
...Indian Fighters and then a band of Canadian Militia that you can help create with your support.
As mentioned above, each of these products will only get created once the team has managed to make enough money from backers. So, if you really like the idea of adding more native support into your Blood & Plunder collection then your backing really does help.
Make sure to get involved and tell us what you think of these new options!

good looking figures.
Interesting twist. I haven’t been following this game so much but it seems that it was predominantly based around the warmer tropical regions. However these fur trappers and frontiersmen is a very interesting change in direction to potentially more northern climes
will be making my pledge shortly. This is one of the reasons i like OTT so much, it lets me know of all these kickstarters that are out there. I do wish they bring back the series where they show all the gaming kickstarters each week ( it was a great feature ).
I missed this tidbit of news from 3 weeks ago! Only catching up on it after the announcement of a new kickstarter to fund plastic models and plastic ships during Black Beard’s time on the Weekender! Good stuff! The timing is a bit odd, IMHO although if this wraps up BEFORE the Kickstarter, then all is good.. but if this goes on into the KS, it seems less likely to fund these new models if everyone is just looking towards new plastics.
