Antediluvian’s Medieval Range Grows With More Bickley Sculpts

Matthew Bickley hasn't just been sculpting Vikings it seems. He has also been working on some brand new 28mm miniatures that will soon be joining Antediluvian Miniatures' War Of The Bruce's Medieval range soon.
Foot Knights // Antediluvian Miniatures
First up, we have the set of Foot Knights (above) with a range of double-handed and one-handed weapons. As always, Bickley nails the details and he gets a lot of dynamism into his sculpts. I really like the helmet designs here showcasing how individual and unique each knight would have been. The full chainmail look is also very cool and for some reason reinforces that grim and gritty feel that you often get with the Medieval era and all of those muddy battlefields.
As well as the Foot Knights, you are also going to be able to pick up some more Infantry with a variety of different weapons.
Infantry With Assorted Weapons // Antediluvian Miniatures
These would be great for representing your Scottish troops or even your English. You could even use them to take on the role of mercenaries from across the channel who have decided to get involved for a handsome sum. The motley assortment of weapons, armour and kit reflects the haphazard look of a lot of armies from the period and really suits skirmish-focused games like The Barons' War or SAGA.
Some of my favourites from this preview were the new Bowmen. Not only is it good to see a variety of different poses for these archers but also different shapes and sizes. I bet the fellow on the right can't run too quick but he's a keen-eyed archer.

You've also got a mixture of different ages represented here. The fellow on the centre-right looks a bit more youthful next to his older companion for example to his left. Again, this makes for a nice force for skirmish games where you can start to get into the nitty gritty of everyone's names. It makes you care all the more when they take an arrow in the knee!
These miniatures will be added to the range soon so watch this space!

The Foot Knights and some of the infantry are so dynamic in pose they wouldn’t look to bad on a pitch in Blood Bowl.
Human Bretonnian Team ftw?
Something like that, yes.
Beautiful miniatures. Matthew Bickley is one of those sculptors whose style is very identifiable. You don’t need to see Matt’s name, you always know it’s his work.
Great sculpts, love all of them!
