Victrix Get Down In The Trenches With WWI Miniatures
February 3, 2014 by brennon
Victrix have decided that on top of the Ancient Greek period they will be heading down into the trenches to produce some World War I miniatures. Check out the preview renders for the 28mm figures below...
The plan is to work on both the British and Germans to begin with, bringing out heavy weapons and characters alongside the infantry soon. Following them we'll see the French making an appearance.
From what's been said about these, this is quite the passion project for Victrix so I can see a lot of effort going into making these as awesome as possible.
Will you be looking out for these?

They look pretty good but I wish they’d gone for Early WW1 with the caps, pickelhaubes and garish French. Early WW1 plays better than trench warfare.
Still, suppose with an odd tank, you can do the battles of 1918. Time to dust off my copy of “The Great War”
Thank u very much victrix. Looking forward to seeing the Germans. Just hope they won’t delay the Napoleonic French artillery.
Well all they need to do is release some extra head sprues some in caps some in pith helmets and you have most of the war covered…Ok it wont be exactly right but you can get away with using them for ANZAC’s as well
a slouch cap/sawn-off shot-gun conversion sprue would make for some great ANZAC’s…
I hope we see an Inuit army.
