Another awesome set of plastics that you should be getting soon from Perry Miniatures! These have some great detail and if you're looking to get into the American Civil War these would be a good place to start. With the new video game Assassins Creed III out I can see a few more people being interested in the War of Independence and maybe then the Civil War later on!
What do you think to these?
Does this mean they’re discontinuing the boxed infantry set with the alternate heads? I liked the flexibility (and the price) of that.
Not at all, you couldn’t make Union troops out of this set!
@cpauls1 There were also a few torso’s in the original set that weren’t suitable for confederate troops.
I believe these will have seperate heads etc as well so between the two sets there will now be even more choice.
ACW was the first thing I wargamed many years ago. these figures are a far cry from my original 20mm Airfix converted with a razor blade.
They look great.
