Secret Weapon Give You Some Cover for Urban Gun Fights

Secret Weapon Miniatures will be releasing two new combat barriers suitable for urban environments. Duck and cover people!
The first is your standard waist high portable HESCO concrete barrier.
The second set is a water-filled road barrier.
Not know much about how such barriers are made, or even physics in general, I can't really say.how effective these would be as cover. But then when bullets are zipping around the air any cover is good cover.
A water-filled barrier would be extremely good cover… until it drained from all the holes at least. You know those shots in movies where the bad guys are firing bullets into the water after the hero dove in? The ones where the bullets are zipping through the water past our hero? Yeah, that’s not how it works. When bullets hit water, they pretty much stop. The stronger the discharge, the more likely that the bullet will actually shatter into tiny pieces on impact. Water, being a fluid, will resist the bullet more the faster it is moving. So smaller, weaker… Read more »
you seen the Mythbusters episode when they tested this? physics behind it all is really interesting – a lot of people know about sloped armour on tanks or composite armour, how you angle your shot, the shape of the round can all really affect the penetrative power but its the same thing with liquids, take in fluid dynamics as well then you’re into some really complicated but interesting science haha paint em yellow and you’ve got custard barriers, even more impenetrable! 😀
Is custard hard or soft cover?
or you can be less scientfic and play movie physics and not give a monkeys….
